The above diagram shows a typical Snow Tech hydronic snow melting system.  The heat transfer package (1) consists of a heat exchanger (or boiler), pump, air separator, expansion tank and control system.  Additional components include (2) ball valves, (3) circuit setters, (4) plastic-to-metal pipe adapters, (5) plastic supply and return mains, (6) access covers and distribution manifolds, (7) reinforcing steel grids, (8) plastic heating circuits and (9) nylon pipe ties.
